SINOPSIS-Kalau sudah berkumpul, The Chipmunks memang jadi susah diatur. Biasanya memang tak terjadi sesuatu yang terlalu mengkhawatirkan tapi kali ini berbeda. Gara-gara ulah si Alvin The Chipmunks, kapal pesiar yang mereka tumpangi ini akhirnya secara tak sengaja ditinggalkan keenam tupai-tupai yang pandai berbicara dan bernyanyi ini. Terpaksa mereka terdampar di pulau asing! Saat itu Alvin Seville (Justin Long), Simon Seville (Matthew Gray Gubler), dan Theodore Seville (Jesse McCartney) yang tergabung dalam The Chipmunks diajak berlibur oleh David Seville (Jason Lee). Hanya berempat? Tidak karena kali ini Brittany (Christina Applegate), Jeanette (Anna Faris), dan Eleanor (Amy Poehler) yang tergabung dalam The Chipettes juga ikut. Sejak awal saja Alvin The Chipmunks memang sudah membuat ulah jahil dan merepotkan David, ditambah lagi dengan kehadiran Ian (David Cross) yang ingin membalas dendam kepada Dave. Situasi dalam perjalanan menjadi semakin kacau saat The Chipmunks dan The Chipettes berada di atas kapal pesiar, karena perbuatan Alvin yang sering usil bermain-main, akhirnya mereka terbawa keluar dari kapal pesiar hingga kandas di sebuah pulau yang sepertinya tak berpenghuni. Sambil menunggu datangnya pertolongan, The Chipmunks dan The Chipettes mulai menjelajahi pulau ini. Ternyata, pulau yang sepi ini sepertinya tidak benar-benar kosong. Ada siapa sebenarnya di pulau ini.
